There is a desire for and a perceived value for an award which delivers the following:
- Agreement on judging criteria
- Voting by airline buyers
- 2 awards; UK & Ireland, and Rest of the World
- Individual and overall feedback
2. The need to creating a level playing field
Consensus: There should be 2 awards; 1 for suppliers who only sell within the UK & Ireland & another for suppliers who sell on a truly global basis.

Innovation which includes innovation in terms of support, promotions, & crew incentives, as well as product based initiatives
Examples of possible ways to demonstrate innovation:
- Product innovation
- Communication

- Reliability
- Trust
- Integrity
- Information sharing
- Knowledge sharing
- Competitiveness
- Value for money
- Support
- Marketing
- Incentives

- Stock control
- Stock returns
4. Method of voting
Each airline Buyer will be given the opportunity to mark each supplier from 1 - 10 (10 being excellent) where they think each supplier has demonstrated excellence.
We think that this is the most transparent and meaningful award judging process within this industry. We also aim to have the results independently verified.
